CMS for radio stations
KroetCMS is the CMS being built for your radio station – lean, flexible, modern. Underneath sits a capable CMS: pages, articles, menus and widgets, sign-in with passkeys and two-factor authentication, one-click updates and multi-language content. No build step, no database server.
Now playing, schedules, shows, song history, top artists, team pages and music-update announcements – all as ordinary content, dropped in with a widget or a shortcode.
Pages, articles, navigation menus and widgets – the everyday building blocks of a website, alongside the radio-specific tools.
Sign in with passkeys or two-factor authentication, encrypted account data, and role-based permissions – all part of the core, not an add-on.
One-click updates that verify a cryptographic hash, snapshot the current code, and roll back automatically if anything goes wrong.
Admin and website in English and German, content with per-page and per-article language tabs.
Enable only what you need: article import, IP geolocation, invitations, registration with a built-in CAPTCHA, cookie consent and more – each a self-contained module.
Admin and website built to WCAG 2.2 AA and fully usable with the keyboard. A visit sets no cookies by default, and covers are fetched by the server, never by your listeners’ browsers.

Behind krœt.net
I’m originally from the Baltic coast and now live between the Swabian Jura and the Black Forest. The “Moin” – northern Germany’s all-purpose hello – came along with me, and I use it at any time of day. I grew up with computers and tech, trained as a media designer and then spent a few years working in IT and customer service.
I’ve been using AI models since day one – for programming just as much as for creative inspiration. I also run a web radio station. Anything else? Coffee always works, so do sunflowers, my colours are purple and yellow – and I have a real soft spot for turtles.
