TradeShuffler

Live

TradeShuffler improves villager trading: re-roll the trades of a novice villager you have not traded with yet, right from the trading screen, and see the trades it will unlock at its future levels. The preview is binding: the villager unlocks exactly what it shows.

Good to know: In multiplayer, TradeShuffler has to run on the server as well, because that is where the trades are generated; in single-player this happens automatically. Mixed installations are safe: without the mod on the server there is no button and no preview, and players without the mod trade as usual on a server that has it.

Features

  • Shuffle trades

A button next to the trading window re-rolls the trades of a novice villager – as long as nobody has ever traded with it. After the first trade it stays locked, also after restocks and restarts.

  • Preview of every level

The trades from Apprentice to Master are listed darkened below the current ones, with a coloured level stripe and a hint at which level they unlock.

  • Binding

On level-up the villager unlocks exactly the previewed trades – also after saving and reloading, and after a zombie infection and cure.

  • Clear reasons

When shuffling is not possible, the button is greyed out and its tooltip says why: already traded, no job site, not a novice or turned off on the server.

  • In-game settings

Set the button position, darkening and level stripe via Mod Menu (Fabric) or the mod list (NeoForge), plus an optional key for shuffling.

  • For server admins

Turn shuffling or the preview off, require a job site and set a cooldown – all in a server config of its own.

  • Update check

Asks Modrinth and CurseForge once at game start for new versions (stable, beta, alpha) and can be turned off.

  • 14 languages

From English and German to Arabic and Japanese, Ukrainian and Chinese.

Behind krœt.net

Moin, I'm Sebastian.

I’m originally from the Baltic coast and now live between the Swabian Jura and the Black Forest. The “Moin” – northern Germany’s all-purpose hello – came along with me, and I use it at any time of day. I grew up with computers and tech, trained as a media designer and then spent a few years working in IT and customer service.

I’ve been using AI models since day one – for programming just as much as for creative inspiration. I also run a web radio station. Anything else? Coffee always works, so do sunflowers, my colours are purple and yellow – and I have a real soft spot for turtles.
